December 22, 2022 Fitler/Rittenhouse/Washington Sq only Order Form

Hello everybody!! One quick note that our skedge for the next two weeks will be normal days and hours. Plus, for the next two Saturdays, we will be open at our shop for walk-ins from 8-1pm.

Well, we have so much fun stuff that i can't even take the time to be cute...ugghhhh...Anyway, the first thing on the specials list is branzini from Greece!! Everybody's had branzini out for dinner and you would knowe that restos charge $35-45 for a plate. You get the each fish for $11. That's a great price. You can choose either butterflied, boneless and head off which we will sell fresh OR whole head on bone in scaled, gutted and gilled which we blast froze and vac packed. Trust me on this one with whole fish. They decompose much quicker that fillets so better to preserve the freshness. Overnight in the fridge and ready for the next day or run under cold water if you want to thaw quickly.

We also have nice 5-6oz frozen Canadian lobster tails from Nova Scotia! These are raw so you have to thaw and cook them up. Lots of ways to do it but my favorite is splitting them in half completely and sauteing them in a pan finishing with some Bibou parsley garlic butter. Yum!!

Next up is a first for us but if you like it, we could do it every once in a while. Cleaned Maryland #1 blue crabs! Now, these things are always a pain in the ass to shell and clean and remove the shmutz and all. So, we had a couple of our crackerjack guys down in the markets do all the dirty work. We then bagged them up in approx 2lb bags and froze them so you can cook them whenever you want! You can make a crab boil, an excellent crab gravy to go with pasta or just steam some up with our seafood spice, lay out some newspaper, crack open a beer and have fun!! You get anywhere from 6-10 per bag depending on thier size. Still 2lbs.

For the coming seasonal vibe, we got a whole bunch of fresh smelts from the Canadian Great Lakes and blast froze them for you in 1 pound bags. This is the best fish snack ever. Check out the recipe on our website for it. You'll smelt..uh, melt...

Also, salt cod, or baccala, is coming to you in 1lb bags frozen (that's how it comes) for you to make some wonderful dish. I, personally love croquetas with potato and posted a recipe for it. Delish. But, pull out the family recipe book and have fun!

We switched over the size of calamari we usually sell. Typically, we had 2.5lb frozen blocks of tubes and tentacles. We will be switching over to individually frozen squid tubes and will pack them in 1lb bags. Easy peasy. Take one tube out or use all of them. Up to you.

More blast frozen Nova Scotia cooked lobster claw and knuckle meat. Only the good stuff, baby!!

Plenty of Faroe Island Salmon fillet including whole sides you could play with by roasting whole or curing to make gravlax or whatever. Plenty of Hokkaido scallops to sear up or eat raw. Yeah, sushi grade just like the salmon.

We will have Erivan Dairy's amazing labneh. We will have Aaji's unique Garlic Tomato Lonsa along with another flavor of theirs, Spicy Tomato Lonsa, a Coastal Indian tomato base that goes so well with the labneh, actually. Crazy. Also, you could use it to make one banging bowl of mussels..We will have more of Oui Pastries from Old City's frozen pie dough. Oh, and more of our Miso dashi tuna tomato sauce. Umami central..

Also, more salmon Char Siu as well as the return of our outstanding Smoked Albacore tuna spread. Your dreams have come true...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp, pasteurized crab meat (good in the fridge for a year) and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggie stockings!!

All the other usual suspects are around as well so have fun, take your time, hurry up and get your order in!

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
