JUNE 3, 2021 FIT/RITT/WASH ORDER FORM
HELLO EVERYBODY!!!
Well, It ain't easy on short weeks with a big windy storm that passed last weekend. Boats got out late and are coming in this morning so it was a little hard to plan. And i like to plan. So do most of you so sorry for keeping you in suspense but I was right there with you if that's any consolation.
Good news, though. We got a our hands on some beautiful fresh swordfish from the Carolinas! These are on the smaller side as far as swords go but they are absolutely gorge. It's going to be a hot weekend so grilling will definitely be possible. Check out our website for a great recipe on how to grill swordfish perfectly.
Next up, we got our hands on some dayboat yellowtail flounder from up in the Cape. These Massachusetts little beauties will come to you filleted and boneless. They are fresh and never been frozen. These little babies produce fillets that are on the smaller side ranging from 2-4oz each. This will give you lots of options for cooking. You can bake them, broil them, dredge them, batter them and stuff them. Don't forget Pierre's parsley garlic butter. That would make the dish. Or our house made dredge. Easy peasy. To really stretch your boundaries a bit, how about making Thai fish cakes? Sounds delish, right?
We still have some of that delicious frozen snow crab meat that takes so well to a light saute in Pierre's butter or can be made into a crab cake or stuffing.
Arctic char is back as the salmon variety of the week. Looking beautiful and is sooo delish. Clams are the shellfish of the week. Frozen cod is back in and frozen mahi is back out. Oysters are Riptides out of Massachusetts. Really tasty little treats.
And lastly, the feature of the week is inspired by lots of people's happiness with the convenience of the Unagi we have sold a couple of times. It's always nice to have something in the freezer you could grab quickly and make quickly for a snack or an appetizer. Sooooo, this week, we will be selling Shrimp Shumai! These delicious little nuggets come frozen and in bags holding 45-50 shumai. Now, you can buy some in Asian supermarkets but remember they will be cheaper quality because, well, they want to make as much money as they can. We, on the other hand, care about quality first. This product comes to us from one of our favorite suppliers that sell to many of Philly's smaller sushi houses. Now, shumai there can cost $5 for 6 to 8 of them. You will pay $18 for 50. Yeah, it's a money maker for them. Anyway, enjoy them. You can steam them, cook them up like potstickers or drop them in a broth to make a dynamite soup!!
Well, that's all I got. I hope you have fun with the seafood this week. Here is the order form.
