JULY 1, 2020
HELLO EVERYBODY!!!
Well, first of all, I would like to welcome all the people who have joined from our new spot's building. That's 444 N 4th St to those who don't know. Welcome to the club! You will hopefully enjoy what so many have already enjoyed in Fairmount and Rittenhouse. Check out our website for recipes. That will encourage you to try cooking things you never have. It's really gratifying. We hear it every week.
So, we are getting settled into our new space and it's definitely helping in staging things to bring to everyone. We don't have plans to open to the public throughout the week. Yet, anyway. Supply chains are still prone to volatility and Covid is making us hesitant to allow people to come in, shop around, grab stuff, etc. What I am saying is that i have so much sympathy for people working in supermarkets and other essential services but I think we will wait until we can find a way to do it safely. That being said, we will use the space as a pick up spot where people can pick up and go on Thursdays between 3pm and 6pm. Kind of like the truck. When you go to the form below, it will prompt you for an area of pick up. Make sure you select the correct one. Either Fairmount or 444 N 4th St.
Anyway, onto the fish for the week! Lobster meat is back and we are so excited! Lobster rolls on the 4th of July seems like a bongo idea. We have a great recipe on the website for that. Also, we are selling Jumbo shrimp this week in celebration of the weekend. Go to town with some scampi or a delicious shrimp cocktail. Here is a nice recipe that i think kills it. Instead of boiling the shrimp, you roast them and chill them. Oh....my...lord...it's that good.

Fresh littleneck clams are also on the menu! 50 count bags are a great thing to steam or make into a pasta or paella. People have been asking for it. Well, here it is!
Last, but not least, fresh halibut fillets. The king of flatfish is still reasonably priced which is a miracle around this time of year. Let's eat good people and take advantage.
One thing i want to say about Kenney's decision to not open indoor dining. I think it is the right decision considering what has been going on around the world. We have been slowly accepting that restaurant quality food has moved into our homes. We are glad to do our part in providing you with that kind of quality.
Anyhow, here is the form. See you all tomorrow,
