October 6, 2022 Fit/Ritt/Wash Sq Only Order Form

Hello everybody!! First of all, our regional shipping within 20 miles has been working great so if you know anyone who wants to take advantage, have them go to our website and sign up to get emails for that. Also, I know that some of you are observing Yom Kippur and won't be able to read this until after sundown. Well, we will leave the order form open until 9pm tonight for that reason. Plus it gives me another word besides eight to finish off my poems with...

All right! So! Fresh albacore tuna from Canada! This is one of my favorite tunas because it is so versatile. Yes, sushi grade and just delish that way. So creamy and flavorful. But, also has enough fattiness that you can cook it up in a sauce or broth and it melts in your mouth! It is kind of like chicken thighs to chicken breast comparison. It's actually why it gets poached and canned. And you can certainly poach in oil, yourself too. I posted a recipe for that. Best tuna salad or Nicoise ever...Oh, and with the crappy weather all around, restaurants have been super slow so demand overall is low and so is the price! We pass on the savings, baby!! Down to $30 for 2lb bag from $34 a month ago!!!

As the weather gets a little chillier, our cravings shift a tad. For me, I kind of start yearning for flounder. I know, I know. But, I do. Maybe it's me missing the summer, maybe it's just that I want comfort food. Maybe it's just because we are getting into the better part of the season for it. All I know is that I need some. So, we have flathead sole fillets coming in!! This beautiful flounder (flounder is really just a general category for flat fish) is firm and sweet in flavor. Perfect for a nice dusting of our dredge and into a hot oiled pan. Two minutes one side, two minutes the other, squeeze of lemon and delish! But, I wouldn't be beyond a little crab stuffed for Flounder Imperial. Nothing wrong with that! Oh, and so affordable too!!

Gorgeous Faroe Island salmon this week once again. As I stated a couple of days ago, we will offer up whole sides for you too. Lots of you liked that two weeks ago. And, the presentation value of it, I mean. Photogenic for sure!

We have more beautiful Hokkaido scallops this week. Sushi grade and also sear up perfectly. Best of the best.

For those who want to try their hand in making sushi rolls this week, we will be selling more nori sheets. These are the high quality ones you only find in sushi restaurants. Not supermarkets. It's the good stuff.

Crab meat is available and really great stuff. Blue crab only. Pasteurized in a can and good til 2023. Frozen grouper fillets are available. They are packed in 2lb bags but individually frozen so you can take out as many as you want and cook them up.

We haven't had mussels in a few weeks because of Hurricane Fiona slamming PEI but they are back! Best cheapest comfort food ever!! Oysters are Chebooktooks from New Brunswick. Plenty of marinated and smoked fish around.

All the other usual suspects are around as well so have fun, take your time, hurry up and get your order in!

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
