June 16, 2022 Fit/Ritt/Wash Order Form

Well, I will just roll into this. Lots of great stuff to choose from this week. Just a quick. The sword, trout, salmon and scallops can all be frozen. Wrap in plastic wrap (each fillet for the fish) and freeze sooner rather than later.

Ok. here we go! Beautiful swordfish from up north is here again! I love it when it comes back around. Great recipes on our site for them. Just search sword.

What can I say about our beautiful fresh rainbow trout? Head on or head off, this is the freshest, meatiest, deliciousest trout you'll have anywhere. Top notch stuff.

Salmon salmon this week still from Faroe Islands. Sushi grade and, well, can you ever eat another salmon ever again???

Galapagos lobster tails (6oz each) are prized for their flavor and these tails are packed with meat! They come frozen as all tails do and will be a treat for papa!

Fresh Venezuelan crab meat is still around and holding its price. So many of you have been commenting on the super high price of crab meat in supermarkets. Yeah. This is the good stuff. Good for a week but best within the first 4-5 days. Cannot be frozen but you can make crab cakes, freeze them uncooked and the binding protects the texture of the crab. Resto trick.

Gorgeous Hokkaido dry scallops have dropped a tad in price as well. Down to $25lb! Sear up some perfect scallops using our recipe on our site. Also, sushi grade so perfect for crudos.

Onto the fun stuff! Aaji's tomato lonsa is a special condiment and sauce base that the many of you that have tried it, have raved about. And for good reason. It can enhance a fish by pairing with it or you can use it as a base for a sauce for, say, swordfish or making mussels! Yeah, mussels...

The last time we sold Erivan Dairy in Bucks County's labneh or yogurt cheese, we sold out in the first hour. This stuff is the real deal made from the best milk in the area which makes the best labneh! Don't just take my word for it. This is the labneh they use at Zahav! All natural, creamy and tangy, you can simply make a plate of it with a little olive oil and some bread or use it as a base for other tasty things such as roast beets. Personally, some lonsa with this labneh may be the best best combo discovered since chocolate and peanut butter..Shelf life til August 4 for stock up!!

Hot dogs. Yup, hot dogs. These beef/pork dogs are made the old fashioned way with a natural casing and natural smoke. El Camino makes one of the best dogs I've tasted in a long, long, time and I used to own a gourmet hot dog shop!! These will sell out quick so stock up on them.

For the adventurous, try pairing the hot dog in a bun with some delish cod fish cakes! Yup, that would make it the real Philly classis dog made famous back in the day by Levis off of South Street. These come frozen too so you can use them whenever. You can cook them by roasting them, airfrying them or deep frying them. A nice crackermeal on them will take many of back!

Mussels are the shellfish of the week. Big plump mussels, these have been gorgeous lately. Oysters are Pink Moons from PEI. A little small than last weeks but these are some of the cleanest tasting oysters around.

We added Acme smoked trout to the list this week to go with some of our other good stuff. Marinated fish and herring is here too.

All the other usual suspects are around as well so have fun, and just like voting, order early and often...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
