JUNE 16, 2021 FAIRMOUNT/444 N 4TH ST ORDER FORM

 HELLO EVERYBODY!!!

Well, tons to talk about! I will try to keep it short (for me, anyway..sorry). First off, if we don't see you this week, happy Father's Day! For those who are here, one quick note about receiving emails. Some people have found that their work emails are no longer going through. Higher restrictions have been placed on work devices. I am posting all emails live to our website so you can always go there to read it and get to the order form.  Bookmark that page too. Lots of recipes can be found on our site. Secondly, i will mention this over the next couple of weeks but we will  be closed the week after July 4th. We will keep warning you about it but there it is.

Sooo, this week, South African lobster tails!! 2 each 4.5-5oz tails per order. Top of the line and the best of them all. Great for grilling this weekend for a little surf and turf. Or, split them completely down the middle, pan sear for 4 minutes in a hot pan meat side down, then 3 minutes on shell side, drop a pad of  Bibou parsley garlic butter in the pan, put the lid on and turn off the heat. Let sit for 10 minutes or so and you will get the best tails ever!!

Next up is Kingklip fillet. This wonderful fish is very similar to grouper fillet. Speaking of South Africa, it happens to be that country's favorite fish. It is also quite popular in South America where it is known as Congrio. Great recipe on our site. Check it out.

By popular demand and because it is so good ion the grill, frozen Spanish octopus 2-4lb each is back!! Once again, because of the variable weight, we will have a button for $1 for each octopus that you want. When you get to the truck, we will calculate the balance and charge you then. Two great recipes on our website for its preparation.

Altantic salmon is back!!! Yay!! Lots of you missed it and most of you got to try the char and steelhead and you discovered you like that too! Win win!. Clams are the shellfish of the week. Sand Dunes from PEI are the oysters of the week. Packed with flavor and a little larger than your typical PEI Oyster. Frozen Snow crab meat Jumbo style is back again. Remember, this is snow crab meat and not blue crab. Very tasty stuff but holds more moisture and a little saltier. Kippered Salmon is added to the smoked fish stuff.

Two features we are happy to sell this week. First is delicious smoked sausage from our friends at El Camino Real in Northern Liberties. They made these pork sausages specifically for you all. Two varieties 14oz each) come per order. Both are cooked and vacuum packed so the shell life refrigerated is one month and the shelf life frozen is one year. The first flavor is a spice smoke paprika Spanish chorizo style sausage. The second is a garlicky mild Kielbasa style sausage. How good would these go with your clams or octo, right?? Or just pop them on the grill. Yumm!!

Second is brioche dough from Oui pastries in Old City. Our friend, CJ,, made this luxious buttery dough that is perfect for making Challahs, burger buns or cinnamon rolls! You get 1 kilo of dough. Enough to make a whole challah and a whole batch of cinnamon rolls. Recipes can be found on our site. They come frozen so you can take out what you need and make what you want. Always nice to have super high quality dough to paly with.

Well, that's it from me. Sorry about the length of it. Lots of good stuff to talk about and I couldn't hold back!! Anyway, her is the order form..
