SEPTEMBER 23, 2020

Tho latht week wath kind of a weird one. I try to be balanthed in our menu thelection but we committed a thin. Although I like a little alliteration oneth in a while, the overuthe of the letter €˜S€™ in our thelectionths may have bordered on criminal. I feel the need right now to make up for that. We had thalmon, thcallopths, thable, thuper lump crab, shrimp, thordfish, thmoked thalmon, thmoked trout, kippered thalmon€¦Yeah€¦all I can thay is that I am thintherely thorry. And all thith in the month of Theptember, of courth. Tho Thad.

On the positive side of the ledger, I€™ve decided to redeem myself by OWNING the lisp. What better way than to have a T fish and a H fish this week, right? So how about Tuna and Haddock!! (Insert mind blowing up here). Yes, I think we are cycling into a great tuna week. it's been a while and the tuna is looking really good. Sushi grade tuna skin off and bloodline out and ready for you to work your magic! We have a couple of good recipes posted for tuna on our website, smallworldseafood.com, but here is a little video for tuna tartare.

Also, some beautiful fresh haddock fillets skin on are perfect going into this time of year. This is considered to be one of the best types in the cod family and come from the cold waters off of Massachusetts. We love this fish for its firmness and flakiness. Great for broiling, sautéing or frying. Think fish and chips.

Clams are the shellfish of the week and oysters will be Savage Blonds from PEI.

Now the cheese selection from Third Wheel Cheese Co in West Philly will be:

· Noblette - a small format Brie from Calkins Creamery (PA)

· 2 Year Aged Cheddar from Shelburne Farms (VT)

· Hootenany - a goat milk Gouda from Goat Rodeo (PA)

· Birchrun Blue from Birchrun Hills Farm (PA)

For more info about each cheese, please go to Ann€™s website, thirdwheelcheeseco.com for full descriptions. I won€™t take up the space here but just suffice it to say you will get 4oz each of 4 cheeses for $30. If you all like the idea of having other featured products from other small local companies, we will keep doing it. There are a lot of good people doing a lit of good things out there. We would like to support their efforts. There is a limited amount but we will do it again so no worries.

Anyway, here is the order form.

See you all tomorrow!
