June 2, 2022 Fitler/Rittenhouse/Washington Sq order form

Well, like I said a month or so back, the late spring is a fun time of the year because we get to see fish we may not have seen in a while. We've seen more albacore tuna, speckled trout, soft shells, etc..

After many months of praying to the fish gods up above (or down below, literally) we finally got a call for some excellent swordfish from up north! Yes, this is the nice stuff that has changed many of yez minds about how good sword can taste. I posted a few nice recipes for swordfish. It grills beautifully, roasts excellently and pan sears marvelously. It also freezes great, too!

And our beautiful Faroe Island salmon. Sushi grade and melts in your mouth when you cook it up. No antibiotics. No hormones...You know, tasting salmon farmed cleanly, it's like tasting really good bread. How can you ever go back to supermarket crap?

We have more Venezuelan Jumbo lump crab meat coming it. This is really good stuff. It is fresh so it doesn't have a long shelf life like the pasteurized stuff. A week in the fridge but better sooner than later. It cannot be frozen but you can make crab cakes and freeze those. The binding protects the meat.

And those Hokkaido scallops. Oh my. I love to see everyone learn how to cook up perfect scallops. Some of you have learned from that recipe I posted on our website and now you are plating up gorge dishes! Just check out our Insta to see!!

We have a wee bit more Canadian bacon from El Camino for all those who could not order some last week. This is the real deal stuff, folks.

We have a wee bit of smoked Albacore spread as well. Mussels are the shellfish of the week. Big and plump ones lately. Nice. Oysters are Riptides from Massachusetts.

We are switching the frozen fish from flounder to yellowtail sole. Our supplier from New Bedford, Mass is the same. They catch the fish, they fillet the fish, they blast freeze the fish. Just for us. Every part of it is done domestically. Can't go wrong, right?

We have some beautiful Mycopolitan mushrooms. Fresh, local and delish. Plenty of marinated fish. Anchovies (boquerones), sardines, dill herring. This is top tier stuff.

Also, all the other usual suspects are available too. Have at it, people!!

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
