Week of November 18, 2024 - Bryn Mawr Farmers Market Order Form
Hello everybody!!
First of all, to all of you wwe will not see this week for pick ups, we wish you a very happy Thanksgiving. Secondly, if you need something last minute for the holiday, we will be having store hours at 444 N 4th St this Monday the 25th and Tuesday the 26th from 10am til 1pm. No need to preorder. We will have fresh sides of salmon and mostly everything else as well.
So, let's roll into it! First up is some gorgeous fresh Greenland turbot fillet!! Bone white, silky in texture, melt in your mouth good. This is one elegant fish. A great fish to bake, dredge and pan sear or steam or parchment paper it. You can definitely imagine this to be Julia Child/Martha Stewart fave.
Also, on the docket is blast frozen halibut portions! This is the last of it for the year til season starts again next April so if you like it, pile up on it...Just saying...Another great item for your Thanksgiving table.
Speaking of that, frozen hamachi loins!!! Skinless, boneless, and the perfect way to start of the food extravaganza! Makes the best crudo and have your hand at making some poke bowls or hand rolls for the holiday. No rules, people. It's 2024...
We have blast frozen Martha's VIneyard bay scallops and Icelandic cod cheeks. Two other winners whether it is for the holiday or the rest of the week. Look, you gotta eat. Why not set yourself with some good stuff, right?
And speaking of good stuff, we have fresh cooked claw and knuckle meat from Nova Scotia this week! Lobsters from our area have been on short supply so this is a nice little surprise. We vac pack them which gives them a week shelf like but you can certainly freeze them and then thaw them out before Thanksgiving if you want.
Also, this week, we have more frozen South African lobster tails! If you prefer lobster tails, these are the best of the best. Hands down.
Lots of blast frozen options for you all to choose from too!! We have Scallops, salmon, sockeye, halibut, Bluefish, fluke, Chilean seabass, black cod...
Littleneck clams are the shellfish of the week along with PEI mussels. Grab some pasta and cook away. Best cheap meal ever. Sweet Lucys are the oysters this week from Maine. Exciting. These babies are just plump and juicy...
See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...
And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...
I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
