JULY 15, 2021 FIT/RITT/WASH ORDER FORM
So glad to be back!! It is definitely a little warmer in city. Ugh!! But hey, I have to remember that I REALLY don't like the cold. And as my terrific grandmother used to say, you can't complain about both...
Anyway, pretty excited to get our hands on Atlantic salmon from the Faroe Islands. They don't produce much and most of it goes to the European market. These fish are sushi grade but keep in mind that you will not get the same fattiness as you would with char or Steelhead.
More beautiful sword has come our way and, gosh darn it, we couldn't say no. This is prime season for sword. One of the nice things about this fish is that it is so versatile. You can grill it, you can roast it, you can skewer it, you can use a brothy preparation. It lends itself so nicely to strong flavors whether it be curry, cajun spicing or a Mexican profile. Same fish, different preparations is where the fun is. As you know, plenty of recipes on our website so check them out!!
We will continue to sell Unagi, shrimp shumai and Spanish octopus. Now that so many of you see how easy they are to prepare, it is great to have them in the freezer for whenever.
Clams are the shellfish de semaine. Northern Belles from PEI are the oyster of the week. Haven't done those before. And, of course, besides the seafood you buy for yourselves, we will have those tasty pet treats that are produced for us using trim and such by Melmo Treats right here in Philly.
Anyway, have at. Here is he order form.
