HELLO EVERYONE!!!
Well, we are getting to this transitional point in the next couple of weeks that everyone is stressed out about. Weather, Halloween, daylight savings, elections, covid surges, another sad shooting...Ohmmmmmmm.........We will continue to get through all this together...
This week, we will be featuring halibut for what, I believe, may be the last time this year. The price is really great on it. $14lb or $28 for a 2lb bag. As you may have noticed, when the price goes down, i bring the price to you down as well. We have a great recipe on our website, smallworldseafood.com of how to pan sear halibut the restaurant way. Super easy and great technique. Take advantage, folks.
Monkfish is the other fish of the week. Beautiful fillets that lend themselves to searing, roasting and, my favorite, braising. Monkfish is a delight in curries or other broths. It holds firm and doesn't fall apart and really has a texture similar to lobster meat. That price is down a bit as well at $18 for a 2lb bag. Here is a simple and fragrant curry recipe.

Mussels are back this week. Pemaquid oysters from Maine will be the quest this week and salmon is holding at the cheap price $9lb. What a deal, what a steal.
Lastly, it's cheese week! Ann has put together a great combination this week that looks so interesting and fun. here are the types:
Merry Goat Round- pasteurized goat milk, vegetable rennet. Camembert style. Soft bloomy rind, creamy paste, and a delicate clean flavor
Cowboy Coffee- pasteurized cow/goat milk, vegetable rennet. Big, rich nutty flavor. Semi-hard rubbed with espresso
Buttercup- raw cow milk. Butterkase style. Semi-soft, creamy, buttery tasting cheese
Galen's Good Old-raw cow milk. Gouda style, cellar aged for 12+ months. Bold flavor
The price on them will be a little lower as well coming in at $26 for 4 4oz pieces. We hope you enjoy them. They are pretty unique.
Anyway, I think that's it from me. Here is the order form.
