HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!
What a fun weekend with seafood! Lots of lobster rolls but a lot of people branching out to use lobster differently. Pastas, salads and more. What fun. Also, I think my flounder Imperial video was a hit with everyone. So many people went old school with the fluke stuffing it, broiling it. You know, Jersey shoring it, really. What? 'Jersey shoring' isn't a phrase? Not yet, I say. Hey, at one time loooong ago, 'googling' wasn't a word either.
This week, weather is bringing havoc to our lives. It's kind of refreshing to have something new bringing havoc. The other stuff was getting kind of boring after all these months. The impact of Hurricane Isaias (I can't even pronounce this, seriously) is less on material destruction along the coast that can impact us regarding seafood. It is the huge swells and storm surges. This storm is coinciding with the full moon in our area causing levels to rise even higher. All boats are at dock from Florida up to Maryland the past couple of days and will be at dock in our area going north for the next couple of days. Although I could sooo distract you right now by slipping into a horoscope like prediction of what the moon and the currents mean to our lives and loves, i will simply confess that I have no idea what the special fishes of the week will be.
So, onto things we can be certain about. This Friday will be the first day we stop at Washington Square. We will be going there after the Rittenhouse stop arriving at 2pm and staying until 2:45pm. If you know anyone living down there that would be interested, say a good word on our behalf. They can sign up on our website, smallworldseafood.com.
Well, that's it from me for today. I feel like I really song and danced through this email but, what can I say? It's going to be one of those weeks. And don't you even say anything about 'song and danced'. It should exist. Actually, I've written it and you've read it so, you know what? It exists.
Look out for the order form this Wednesday at 11am.
Best,
Robert Amar
