 HELLO EVERYONE!!

Boy, is this growing! You've helped us pollinate the Rittenhouse and Fitler Square area and they are going crazy signing up! Thank you all very much for your help. I have to admit I am a little scared of the speed and growth of this thing. I hope I don't mess things up!

Well, I have  to do a little instruction stuff first, People keep asking me every week how to pay, where to go, etc. I realize that I can be a little wordy so some of you don't really get to the bottom of the order form for the instructions. So, here goes. Paypal or cash. That's it. No credit cards. Paypal to my phone number 2156681138 or robert...@gmail.com. Please try to paypal when you place the order. Many are forgetting and I don't really want to send muscle your way to collect. I know where you live...

If you order Wednesday, you must pick up Thursday. If you order Thursday, you pick up on Friday. Wednesday for Thursday. Thursday for Friday.

-The Philadelphian loading dock (24th St) 11am to 11:55am

-19th St & Wallace St 12pm to 12:55PM

Pick up on Friday is:

Okay, now on to the fun stuff. Oysters are back! There is still limited availability so when they sell out, they sell out. And, this week, I thought we could be a little thematic. It would have been New Orleans Jazzfest this week. It got me thinking of all the festivals we will be missing this summer. Earlier this week, I found myself blackening some salmon and wondered if there was not some unconscious motivation there. Well, I always say that if you can't be there, you can eat like you are. So, We are offering fresh American catfish fillet from Louisiana. There are some misconceptions out there about catfish that cause some people to have negative feelings toward the fish. It ain't the prettiest, first of all. The wild ones swim around in muddy waters. This catfish, however, is farm raised in concrete ponds so no muddy flavor and of very high quality. The other thing is that there is so much you can do with it. Grill it, saute it, fry it, bake it. The greatest thing is that this is the type of fish like mahi that kids LOVE to eat. Some of the greatest feedback we've gotten has been that your kids are loving the fish! Win! I've included a nice little recipe below for catfish nuggets. Make a little remoulade or spicy ketchup and go to town!

It is supposed to rain the next couple of days but hopefully the forecast will change some. Boy, what a rainy April. We better get a lot of May flowers or I'll be pissed.

Here is the order form for the week along with am email sign up link you can forward to others who may be interested.

THANK YOU ALL!
